Is Cosmic Drop really free? +
Yes. The game is completely free. There are no purchases, no subscriptions, no premium tier, no ads selling you anything inside the game.
Does the game involve real money or prizes? +
No. Cosmic Drop does not involve real wagers, real money, or real prizes of any kind. All stars, balances, and multipliers are virtual and have zero monetary value.
Do I need to create an account? +
No account needed. Just enter a pilot name the first time you drop a star. Your name, balance, and best multiplier are stored locally on your device.
How are the multipliers calculated? +
Each game mode has a fixed array of multipliers for its slots. Where your star lands is determined by the in-game physics (gravity, peg deflection, momentum, and a small amount of randomness on each collision).
Why is my balance reset when I clear my browser? +
Because everything is stored locally on your device. Clearing your browser data wipes the leaderboard and balance. You can always reset to 1000 stars from the main page.
Can I play on mobile? +
Yes. The game scales to your screen and works on any modern mobile browser.
Is the leaderboard global? +
No. The leaderboard is local to your device. A global leaderboard is on our roadmap.
